Asemblon, Inc. was founded by pioneers in molecular self-assembly and organic chemistry. They have patented a technology for storing and releasing hydrogen from a family of short-chain organic molecules.
The advantages of the Asemblon technology are hydrogen storage and transportation in a liquid carrier at standard temperature and pressure that is more space and weigh efficient than liquid hydrogen Dewars or compressed hydrogen tanks. The Asemblon molecules can be shipped by pipelines and tankers unlike ethanol or other forms of stored hydrogen.
Asemblon is a technology licensing company that is actively seeking corporate partners around the world.
